Sometimes to achieve a goal, it is not by taking big steps. Even simply looking at the entire task all at once can seem overwhelming. This may actually be more discouraging, and more difficult to accomplish. However, by taking the smaller steps which you can handle at "this moment" will better prepare you for the next small step, and so on.
Be good to yourself through your journey. It's a journey, not a life sentence. And you are in control of your journey the moment you begin to move forward. With every effort to achieve those goals, you "are" already being the person you want to be.
