| Uncertainty is truly a part of our every day living, and includes all that we encounter... even our last breath. There are many things in life that we simply have no control over. And yes, some things can even seem unfair, or devastating in our life. Even financial situations, relationships, etc. can be very uncertain. Leaving you to wonder or worry about the future, as well as the present. But why do we put ourselves in the position of dread, constantly worrying about what we don't have or what we might lose? All the while... over looking what we do have this very moment, and therefore not truly appreciating the many blessings we have been given? Why is it that we live our lives each day concerned about that which will always be uncertain? There is absolutely nothing we can do about the things that we cannot change. Things that have been etched in stone, such as our eventual death one day. And therefore, we simply need to accept these things for what they are. And learn to live with it... as it is. And even some situations you might think could change, but it is just not meant to be, regardless of what we do. And the sooner we accept that this is the way things are, the sooner we find peace within ourselves and live life to it's fullest. But there are many things in life that we can change for the better. Some things may take a great deal of preparation, time, and effort on our part. However, it can be done. And yes, this too is uncertain; although, uncertainty does not mean impossible. And with the will to change something for the better, it is certain that your efforts will improve the situation in one way or another. No, it may not turn out "exactly" as your visions may be at this moment, but it will turn out in a way that will be more acceptable to you. And enable you to live your life peacefully. Through accepting the things as they are, including the things that always remain uncertain; the sooner you find that you focus less on the things that are uncertain. And you view life through a new pair of glasses, learning how to make life work for you through the choices you make in life. And you begin to focus on that which is certain...what you have at this very moment. And through appreciating what we now have in life, the more blessing we find will come our way. And it is those every day blessings that is certain. Enjoy life as it comes to you. Accept the blessings of today, and look forward to the future with a positive out-look on life. Be who you long to be "today" with what you have sitting in front of you. And embrace every one of those blessings, because it is where you are at this very moment that will make you a better person tomorrow. | |
